Up to day 9!

I haven't posted each day because frankly, it gets boring typing the same things :).  I have developed a new thing of being super tired. I can take a nap at any time and any place, very strange for me. I've also still been feeling a little cloudy still for a few hours mid morning. It's made it difficult to work but I just fake it and do easy stuff :)  My total weight loss last week was 1.5 lbs. a little low for what I was hoping (goal was 80lbs) but I'll take it 😕 My eating is still super good and really easy to control, I LOVE that part. I'm not craving much of anything which is so nice.

Thinking ahead...

Dan do you think after the qsymia recomended usage period is up I could take just  Topiramate? Does it work that way?

Fun Fact....

When you take Qsymia you can eat just a few bites of chicken fajitas, two or three of the beans and walk away.... Without your life being threatened. I'm not lying, I promise.

Woah! 4 & 5!

So apparently I forgot to write a post yesterday! So I'll just combine the two, I guess, because I don't remember anything specific about yesterday...  I've still feel great. I notice if I don't eat which is easy to do on these meds I feel a little spacey and... not quite light headed but cloudy? It's also cottonwood season so it could just be that? They always clutter me up. Other than that all is good. I weighed in yesterday morning and am down a pound after only 3 full days. I feel better too. I haven't had heart burn at all and love the extra energy.  I have felt a little crash at around 7:30 PM. I've been taking the dose at about 6:30 AM so it's pretty perfect timing actually. Even with that crash it's hard to fall asleep. Those CBD drops are doing the trick! I've slept great each night I've taken them.  That's it I think.... all cravings are at bay, I'm a pretty mellow energetic person :)

3rd up!

Great day! My morning walk was great. Not too hot and I wasn't sluggish. I always wish I didn't have to walk up hill so that feeling wasn't anything new!  Jim grabbed me some decaf coffee that I had this morning. I've never been a huge caffeine fiend like my junky big brother (the 2nd to the oldest one) so I didn't expect no caffeine to be an adjustment. I haven't really missed it but it was yummy this morning.   I had a crapy salad for lunch. It had retried beans (made at home) and salsa on it. I think the salsa was maybe bad? Anyway I only ate like 5 bites of it then threw it away. Instead of making something else I just went back to work. I didn't think about food again until about 4:30. That's really odd for me. Normally I'm dreaming of my next meal before I finish my last!  We had family dinner tonight at the MIL's, she made (really store bought and reheated) chicken alfredo and Texas toast..... .    .      .    .   . COULD THE...

Just noticed!

I was a little irritable yesterday afternoon. Today I got a little attitude about our TV volume being too high. Maybe just a coincidence but thought I would write it down just in case

Day 2 down!

I feel really good! No weird stuff going on at all. I'm a little more energetic than normal, but still don't feel tweaky. I haven't had any caffeine or other energetic drinks or food.  My appetite has been really nice. I don't really feel hungry which is not normal for me. Normally I'm hungry all the time! Really not hungry, just want to eat just because it's a fun thing to do. I also don't crave stuff. Wait... I did crave an orange today! :)  I'm more thirsty than normal... not a bad thing.  My walk this morning was a little sluggish. I'm not sure why.  It was the first warm and muggy morning this year.

Night 1 snooze

I slept great, fell asleep really quick and only woke up once to put a blanket on (it got chilly) :)

Night time snack?

This is the time of night I normally start my snack or no snack brain battle. Tonight there's no battle! All is calm, no little devil telling me I just have a snack or I won't be happy.. this is nice!

Lunch...

This is strange. I'm eating lunch, not super hungry but want to eat before I go to my hair appt. but I'm not obsessed with eating. Like I can easily set down my fork, type up this post and not worry about making sure I have another bite in my mouth. It tastes great. I read somewhere someone said it made their food taste bad. Probably just lame info. I don't feel like I have to finish the whole thing. Weird...

Note to Dan...

Dan this is FYI, your welcome to comment or share. I'll log on here how I'm feeling, how it's working etc.

Qsymia Day 1

This is going to be down and dirty for now... I need to get to work 3.75-23MG x1 a day I took it at 6:30 this morning Walked immediately after for 45 min, burned 312 cal, 5,000 steps I decided not to drink any coffee or caffeinated drinks until I know how this will make me feel. I'm glad I didn't! I feel a little jittery but nothing too crazy or that I would call tweaky. I feel good, energized. I'm more thirsty than normal which I kind of like. Its going to help with making sure I have more water I did have some appetite for breakfast. I'll log in detail what I eat on MyPlate (app by LiveStrong) but high view for breakfast I had a Premier Protein shake and 2% Cottage cheese. Seems to have satisfied me just fine. I also have 4 cuties oranges for snack. I'll log more as the day goes on. Gotta go get ready for a meeting to talk about 1.4 million dollars worth of cards that are possibly trash.... hmmmm sounds fun LOL

To start....

This seems to be a superhero feat to shed some pounds! A little background info to log...I have been in the 218-222 weight range for over a year now. My stats today- 220.0 lbs 5' 3" Waist: 42.5 Hips: 50 Bust: 48 Biceps: 16 Thighs: 31 I am pretty active. I do have a sit down job but do it using a stand up desk. I also walk at least 30 minutes, up and down hills pretty much every day, maybe skip once or twice a week. Most of the time when I do skip its because were out running around or cleaning house, doing a project, etc. I have also been "dieting" for years now. Mostly following weight watchers where I'm eating right and logging what I do eat to keep track. My biggest struggle has been sticking to it. I'll be super good for about 5-6 days then sink into delicious food land for a day or two. I straighten back up pretty quick. All of this combined its pretty discouraging not to shed more of this weight. I have played around with the "diet d...
